  • Above mentioned rates include fuel and accommodation of the driver en-route;
  • The cost of one-day trips is provided for the working hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and for a route maximum of 70 km. Additional time is charged at - US$ 10 for car, US$ 20 for minibus and US$ 35 for tour bus (per hour);
  • Prices for a one-day trip to Samarkand are given for both directions.

  • Air
    Uzbekistan Airways (HY) is one of the largest national airlines in Central Asia. Established in 1992, it carries passengers and cargo to more then 30 countries all over the world.
    Uzbekistan Airways successfully operates a fleet of modern aircraft: Boeing-767, Airbus-310, and RJ-85 serve international and CIS routes. In 1999, a new Boeing-757 was delivered in addition to the existing fleet. In 10 years of operation, the international network has expanded and currently Uzbekistan Airline offers service to several European countries, Asia, and the Middle East. Uzbekistan Airways is the first in Central Asia to open direct transoceanic service between Tashkent and New York. The modern fleet and unique geographical location of Uzbekistan presents the opportunity to provide excellent service and connections at the Tashkent International Airport, and offer a wide range of destinations for European customers to India, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand.
    Uzbekistan Airways flies to all major towns and cities in Uzbekistan on a regular basis. Destinations include Andijan, Bukhara, Ferghana, Karshi, Navoi, Namangan, Nukus, Samarkand, Tashkent, Termez, Urgench and Zarafshan.
  • Rail:
    There are 3400 km (2,113 miles) of Uzbekistan railways linking Termez, Samarkand, Bukhara, the Fergana Valley and Nukus. There are two train stations in Tashkent - North and South. The Trans-Caspian Railway traverses the country from Turkmenabad in Turkmenistan via Kagan (near Bukhara), Samarkand and Jizzakh, where the railway branches off to serve the capital Tashkent.
  • Taxi:
    Shared taxis and cars for rent are available in all major cities of Uzbekistan. It is safer to use officially marked taxis, although many taxis are unlicensed. Travelers are advised to negotiate the fare in advance, and not to share taxis with strangers.
  • Metro:
    Tashkent metro, the only one in Central Asia, currently has three lines: Uzbekistan (11 stations), Chilonzor (12 stations) and Yunusabad (6 stations).
